*Do you think you may own a Sabino Arabian?
Characteristics of a Sabino Arabian horse:
A bald, wide or apron blaze that extends over the muzzle and under the jaw, with/without black spots on or arount the muzzle or white that extends or occurs past where the bridle would lay.
High white stockings that extend past mid-knee or mid-hock or disconnected leg markings.
Some form of body white, belly, girth spot ect. is also common.
A loudly marked overo looking horse with lacey markings.
In some cases the foal may be born almost pure white, usually with some speckles of chestnut or bay or black in the body and usually has a medicine hat (dark markings on the ears and forelock resembling a hat).  Foals who are born almost pure white are not to be confused with the lethal white foal which dies at birth or shortly thereafter, a Sabino white foal is born healthy.
The Sabino gene is not to be confused with the Roaning gene or Rabicano gene.  They are completely different genes that can sometimes occur together but are not necessarily indicative of the Sabino gene.
